We are currently seeking an experienced Catering Assistant to join our team. Initially this is a temporary contract for approx 3 months, however, the contract may be extended or made permanent with potential for additional hours available in the Catering department or other areas of the business.
Hours of work: Sunday 9.30am - 6.15pm / Monday 10am - 2.30pm / Tuesday 10am - 2.30pm
Additional hours available to cover absence/holidays/school holidays.
Duties will involve food preparation (making sandwiches, paninis, preparation of salads, pizzas etc), delivering food to customers, adhering to food hygiene standards, stock rotation, assisting with stock ordering, clearing and cleaning tables, washing up, dishwashing plus ad-hoc duties to support the team.
During weekends and school holidays this can be a very busy role so the ability to work under pressure, be level headed and use your own initiative is essential. You must have a good knowledge of food hygiene / allergies / stock rotation etc and be willing to help out in other areas of the business where needed.
